Reclaiming Our Voices
The primary goal of this project is to encourage the continuous and meaningful participation of young people in democratic and governance processes by leveraging the power of digital media and creative storytelling. This will be done through working with, supporting and collaborating with creative voices and organizations who are already involved in civic and political education throughout the communities.
Working with creatives to conduct civic education on public participation and governance is a transformative approach as it harnesses the power of art and culture to engage, educate, and mobilize citizens, fostering a more informed, active, and united public. This, in turn, exposes and disrupts state capture, reduces dependence on corrupt systems, and paves the way for sustainable political and economic development.
