In Kenya, concerns have arisen over the allocation and subsequent spending of Covid-19 funds. Kenyans are fearful that without transparency, the fund may end up scandalous. This means there is a need to work towards improved accountability and inclusivity through information sharing, openness, public participation and public debate in order to effectively ensure the Kenyan Government’s humanitarian response(s) to the COVID-19 outbreak go towards benefiting those who are most needy.
